THANK YOU DEVON

Well we did it and we’re still recovering from a packed 24hrs of events which took place in August.   Family, friends and neighbours attended a family fund raising event in Exeter on the Friday night, all digging so deep into their pockets, raising money for our Mowat-Wilson Syndrome Support Group.

Yes our support group….it seems so strange to say that and I can feel the deep sense of emotion and pride as I think back to that Friday night, seeing so many friendly faces…a night that raised over six hundred pounds!

Thank you also to those businesses who donated to the cause that night, Heavitree Breweries, Whitehall Construction, Speedy Survey and MAT Electrics, who are all based in and around Exeter..  

Then the next day, off to Torbay with Jack (Mason), Callum (Noon) and Ben (Lock), to undertake a sponsored walk and street collection. Some of the photos are shown below and you will see that we started near a sun-drenched beach at Goodrington Sands before the skies turn grey by the time we reached Torquay harbour some 4 hours later!

So, what of the final total I hear you cry?…£1004 (yes over a thousand) I reply with great pride and a good feeling inside....WELL DONE EVERYONE and THANK YOU.
